The 78th Australian International Movie Convention powered by Vista Group was another incredible gathering of Australasian exhibitors, distributors, filmmakers, trade partners and marketers all celebrating the dynamic regional cinema industry. The AIMC featured the second Screen Australia Filmmaker Masterclass with delegates hearing from over 20 renowned industry professionals, along with 13 distributor presentations, 11 keynotes featuring 9 international speakers, 3 panel discussions featuring 12 industry experts, 5 award presentations recognising some of the industries brightest talents, 5 film screenings, countless international trade partners & presenters, 4 nights of live entertainment, a Screen Queensland “Meet The Queenslanders” party, another incredible TikTok marketers breakfast, a Walt Disney Studios welcome party, a Motion Picture Distributors Association of Australia gala all hosted in the HOYTS Theatre, with delegates enjoying the presentations through 3 new Christie laser projectors, on 3 fantastic new Harkness screens, enhanced by Dolby Laboratories incredible sound system…
